CE0123 Certification
Many domestic companies may be required by European customers to do CE0123 certification when exporting goods to the European Union. For most companies, they may have done or heard of the EU CE certification, but is CE0123 certification a CE certification, and what is the difference between it and CE certification?
CE0123 certification is a number like 0123 behind CE, which is actually CE certification itself, and the following 0123 represents the EU Notified Body that issued the certificate, and 0123 refers to TUV. The EU Notified Body is the so-called NB organization. At present, there are thousands of Notified Bodies in the EU, mainly located in European countries, but most of them do not directly conduct business in China. Domestically well-known companies such as TUV and SGS are also One of the reasons why many export companies are required to do CE0123 certification.
In fact, as long as the CE certification is made by a qualified EU Notified Body, it can be officially recognized by the EU, not necessarily issued by a designated Notified Body. Of course, if foreign customers have clear requirements for the issuing agency, they can give priority to the certificate issued by the agency, but it needs to be clear that the requirements of foreign customers may not be correct, so export companies should not blindly recognize foreign customers’ Claim.
